 Family and Community Learning Guides The Family and Community Learning Guides are a series of grade level guides that help families and community partners understand what students in Pre-K through Grade 5 in Davenport Community Schools should know by the end of each grade level. These expectations are established in character education, language arts, math, science, social studies, visual arts, music, and physical education/health and wellness. Each series of benchmarks includes simple activities and community resources that parents and community agencies can use to support Davenport Community Schools’ student learning. Extended Versions - In addition, each Guide has an “Extended Version” for each grade level (see menu at left) that includes more detailed information, activities and resources for families and community partners to use as they support student learning.
